ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar on Wednesday said that terrorists cannot be called ‘humans’ and all the institutions are playing pivotal role to eliminate this menace, 92 News reported.
Addressing the National Assembly, the Interior Minister said that recently only those culprits were executed who raised arms against the state, attacked mosques, schools and security agencies.
He said that twenty two terrorists have been executed since the lifting of moratorium on death sentence.
Ch Nisar said there are 100 million unregistered Subscriber Identity Module (SIMs) in the country. So far, 30 million SIMs have been verified.
“I am satisfied with the performance of mobile companies,” he added.
The Interior Minister further told the National Assembly that there are sixty banned organizations in Pakistan but the government would not ban any group on US dictation.
