LAHORE (92 News) – Punjab Governor Ch Sarwar said that all political parties have rejected the sit-in to be staged by JUI-F chief Maulana Fazalur Rahman. Talking to the media on Thursday, he said that now they are not worried. “The time is not for the sit-in, but for unity,” he said. The Punjab governor said that presently the objective should be to highlight the Kashmir issue, not to march towards Islamabad. “The opposition parties are also saying that it is not the time to stage the sit-in,” he said. On the other hand, National Assembly Speaker Qasim Suri said that the Islamabad lockdown by misleading the people in the name of the religion would not be allowed. He said that about 52,000 votes could not be confirmed, but the CNICs are genuine. He said that he would accept the SC verdict. The NA deputy speaker said that five solar energy tube-wells were being installed in Quetta. “I try my best to raise the issues of Balochistan, especially Quetta, in the National Assembly,” he said. He said that an attempt is being made to occupy Islamabad by misleading the people in the name of the religion.
