GUJRANWALA (92 News) – All arrangements have been finalized for the public meeting of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) at Jinnah Stadium on Friday, while PML-N vice-president Maryam Nawaz has left for Gujranwala from Jati Umrah.

Addressing the workers before her departure, Maryam Nawaz said that it was beginning to an end to the government. “We have come out for the rights of the people and respect for the vote,” she said.

The PML-N vice-president asked the law enforcement agencies not to block the masses.

Meanwhile, JUI-F chief Maulana Fazalur Rehman said that conditions had changed. “Now the rulers are seeking the NRO from us and we are not giving them the NRO,” he maintained.

He said that the government would not be able to see December.

Later, a convoy led by PDM chairman Maulana Fazalur Rehman left Lahore for Gujranwala. The convoy will reach Gujranwala via Shahdara, Ferozewala, Muridke and Kamoke.

The convoys of Maryam Nawaz and Maulana Fazalur Rehman are likely to unite at Kamoke. Awais Noorani, Maulana Amjad Khan, Bilal Mir, Dr Attiqur Rehman and Maulana Saleemullah Qadri are also accompanying the convoy.
