32 MQM workers remanded for 90 days; 26 handed over to police on 14-day remand

KARACHI (92 News) – The anti-terrorism court remanded 32 workers of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) in Rangers’ custody for 90 days. The court remanded 26 other accused, including Faisal Mota, in police custody for 14 days. They will be again be produced on March 26. Faisal Mota told court that Rangers had arrested him from a house near Nine Zero. Accused Amir Saleem, Nadir Shah and Farhan told Rangers that they were arrested from Khurshid Memorial Hall. The accused told court that they had not been tortured. These workers were arrested from Nine Zero in a raid conducted by the Rangers.
