Allegations of murder conspiracy: Asif Zardari serves legal notice to Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Former president Asif Ali Zardari served a legal notice to PTI chairman Imran Khan for levelling the allegations of murder conspiracy against him.

In the legal notice, it has been stated that Imran Khan should tender an unconditional apology within 14 days otherwise he has the right to take legal action. "I will file an Rs10 billion defamation suit if Imran Khan did not tender an apology," Asif Zardari stated in the notice.

Zardari stated that the PPP had faced terrorism in each era. "I have been President of Pakistan. I he spent eight years in prison in a false case of corruption. The cases constituted against me could not be proved. Imran Khan made false allegations which affected my reputation," he added.

The legal notice on behalf of the former president was sent by his lawyer Farooq H Naik.
