Allegations of tax evasion: Imran Khan submits reply in SC

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has on Tuesday submitted his reply in the Supreme Court regarding allegations relating to alleged tax evasion and ownership of offshore companies. In his reply, the PTI chairman while refusing the allegations said that he had bought the London flat for UK £117,000 Pounds, while Niazi Services Limited Company was formed with UK £9 and the total asset of the company was London flat. Imran Khan stated that revealed that the land in Bani Gala was bought for Rs4.3 billion on lease in 2002. He stated that Jamaima paid money for Bani Gala land due to delay in sale of London flat which was sold for £715,000 which he handed over to Jamaima in March 2003. The PTI chairman said that Jamaima gifted him the Bani Gala house though a letter after divorce. He further rejected the allegations of buying property with black money, adding that the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has not raised any objection over Bani Gala property for the last 13 years. Imran Khan said that he is paying taxes for the last three decades, adding that the PTI’s lawyer will reply to the allegations on the party.
