Alleged transactions of Rs4.5b: NAB summons Farhat Shahzadi, husband on June 8

LAHORE (92 News) - The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Tuesday summoned Farhat Shahzadi alias Farah Gogi and her husband in the alleged transactions of Rs4.5 billion on June 8.

According to the NAB, both accused have been summoned on the disclosure of 117 bank accounts, including four foreign. During the Buzdar era, transactions amounting to Rs4.5 billion were made to these bank accounts.

Moreover, the properties worth Rs1.5 billion were also unearthed during the investigations.

Farhat Shahzadi also faces the charge of benefitting from the amnesty scheme launched for white-collar crimes.

During the last three years, the assets of Farhat Shahzadi and her husband increased by 420 percent. They also face the charge of accumulating properties with over Rs one billion from 2018 to 2021.
