Already predicted failure of no trust motion, says Sheikh Rasheed

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Federal Minister for Pakistan Railways Sheikh Rasheed on Friday said that he had already predicted failure of no trust motion against Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani. Talking exclusively after Senate election, the minister mentioned that don’t need to give any attention to the remarks of Senator Hasil Bazenjo because he is showing anger after getting embarrassed. “This is only way to release his frustration,” he added. “I had already uttered that Senate chairman Sadiq Sanjrani will not be changed,” he said, adding that the opposition senators did not support him. On the other hand, talking to the journalists in Karachi, he said that he will tender his resignation to PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari instead of Jamiat Ulema-e Islam Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman. He claimed that former president Asif Ali Zardari has rescued his ‘kid’ Sadiq Sanjrani from opposition’s no-confidence motion.
Failure of no-trust move exposed opposition’s coalition: Buzdar
After the failure of no trust motion, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said that failure of the no-confidence move has exposed coalition of the opposition parties. “The opposition parties have badly failed in weakening the state institutions,” he added. Usman Buzdar termed that this results has proved that the opposition parties are even not sincere with each other. He advised the opposition to avoid doing negative politics now. In a statement, Minister for Defence  Pervez Khattak said that Hasil Bazenjo should accept defeat instead of baseless allegations. Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information Firdous Ashiq Awan announced to table condemnable resolution against Hasil Bazenjo’s statement against premier national institutions. Earlier, the no-confidence motion against failed against Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani on Thursday. The no-confidence motion against Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani was tabled by Leader of the Opposition in the Senate Raja Zafarul Haq. Fifty senators voted in favour of the motion. Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani got 45 votes while five votes were rejected. Nine opposition members also voted in favour of the Senate chairman. After the failure of the no-confidence motion against him, Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani said that there was no miracle as he was already confident. “I thanks all senators for voting me.”
