KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has apologized for uttering indecent language against the female participants of the Islamabad sit-in. In a media statement, he said that he does not want war, but peace. “Shireen Mazari Sahiba, I am sorry, I am really sorry,” he said. Earlier, he apologized to law-enforcement agencies for harsh words during his speeches. He said that his objective was not to offend anyone. “I apologize if any person of an institution is displeased with the words uttered by me,” he said. He said that the Baldia Town tragedy was not less than doomsday. He demanded that the culprits should be awarded exemplary punishment after an impartial inquiry.
