Altaf Hussain again invites PTI to hold rally in Jinnah Ground

KARACHI (92 News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Friday once again invited Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan to conduct his party’s rally in Jinnah Ground to campaign for NA-246 by-poll, scheduled for April 23. In his statement, MQM chief directed the Coordination Committee to hold talks with PTI, form a joint committee which devises a mechanism to avoid confrontation. Altaf Hussain directed party workers not to chant slogans against the PTI or any other party. He also welcomed Jamat-e-Islami’s public gathering planned on April 12 in connection with the by-poll.
