Altaf Hussain targeting Pak Army & institutions from Britain, Ch Nisar tells British HC Philip Barton

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Federal Interior Minister Ch Nisar on Tuesday called on British High Commissioner Philip Barton and made him clear that MQM chief Altaf Hussain is targeting Pak Army and institutions from Britain. He informed the British HC that Pakistan has decided to send a legal reference to Britain against Altaf Hussain. They also discussed bilateral relation and other matters during the meeting. British High Commissioner Philip Barton assured the minister of full cooperation from the British government. Earlier addressing a ‘Darbar’ at Police Lines in Rawalpindi on Tuesday, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar said that the Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain’s case was not of a political nature, adding that it was a legal matter and should be treated accordingly. He said that the government did not make money laundering case against the MQM chief Altaf Hussain and the cases were registered in Britain. Ch Nisar said that the government has no personal enmity with the MQM or its leaders. Nisar said that the worsening situation in Karachi is due to MQM chief Altaf Hussain’s hate speeches.
