Amanullah Khan resigns as Balochistan governor

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Justice (retd) Amanullah Khan has resigned as the Balochistan governor. He submitted his resignation letter to President Arif Alvi on Wednesday.

It is pertinent to mention here that Prime Minister Imran Khan asked him for resign during his Balochistan visit.

According to the sources, he has resigned on the advice of the prime minister. He was asked to resign because of the political challenges in Balochistan.

He was appointed in October 2018. It has yet to be revealed who will replace Khan.
