Amid restrictions, Kashmiris celebrate Eid with Pakistani brethren in IIOJ&K today

SRINAGAR (92 News) – Eidul Fitr is being celebrated in Indian Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir along with their Pakistani brethren, today, amid tight restrictions imposed by the Indian authorities on main venues of congregational prayers in the territory .
No major congregational Eid prayers are taking place in big towns and cities including the famous Eid Gah and historic Jamia Masjid Srinagar in view of restrictions.
The decision about celebrating Eid followed an announcement by Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee in Pakistan last night. Then, announcements about Eid were made on loudspeakers in Masjids in the Valley, last night.
