Amir Khan's bail plea hearing adjourned till June 26

KARACHI (92 News) – An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Thursday adjourned the hearing of detained Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Amir Khan’s bail plea.

As per reports, the MQM leader, case who is charged of harbouring and supporting terrorists, was presented before the court amid tight security. The court while adjourning the hearing till June 26.

Talking to media outside the court, Amir Khan said that the MQM has faced similar operation before as well; he hasn't lost heart. "The party possesses ability to confront every sort of situation in the leadership of MQM chief Altaf Hussain," he said. Talking about the recent allegations levelled by the BBC against the MQM of receiving funding and weapons along with training from India, he said that all the allegations are baseless, and Altaf Hussain is a patriotic Pakistani.
