AML, PTI to quit if demands not met: Sheikh Rasheed

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed has on Thursday against threatened to resign if the government failed to fulfill his and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) demands regarding the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), interim government and Electoral Act. He said that the AML and PTI would start a campaign against Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), interim government and Electoral Act. The AML chief said that the he and the members of PTI would also tender resignations. Sheikh Rasheed said that the Electoral Reforms Act 2017 adopted by the assemblies to re-elect Nawaz Sharif as party president is not acceptable. He further warned that they would not sit silent if the changes were made in the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) laws.
