ISLAMABAD (92 News) – As the police continues its crackdown against the leaders and workers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in the federal capital ahead of the party’s planned November 2 sit-in, police have Tuesday apprehended PTI leaders Shafqat Mahmood, Yasmeen Rashid, Andleeb Abbas and Waleed Iqbal. The PTI leaders were arrested while trying to enter Bani Gala. PTI leader Andleeb Abbas complained of being tortured and misbehavior by the law enforcement agencies. Earlier, police yesterday apprehended PTI leaders Arif Alvi and Imran Ismail. The two leaders were arrested outside Bani Gala while trying to enter Bani Gala. The PTI leaders also staged a brief sit-in. In his message on social media website, Imran Ismail had said that they were taken to the Secretariat police station. On the other hand, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar ordered the local administration to immediately release the PTI leaders.
