ANF seizes more than 13kg Heroin from UK national woman

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) on Sunday seized more than thirteen kilograms heroin from British national woman at Islamabad International Airport. According to the officials, Kausar Younus – a British citizen – had concealed the drugs in her luggage bags. During the checking of her luggage, the Anti Narcotics Forces recovered heroin in large quantity. However, the woman was taken into custody and a case registered against her. Earlier, on March 4, the ANF had seized 900 gram of ice from a Jeddah-bound passenger at Islamabad International Airport. The arrested drug peddler identified as Shafique son of Nimaz Khan was a resident of Kohat, who was travelling to Jeddah via Abu Dhabi from the new Islamabad Airport. In the month of January, the ANF said it had seized 1995.475 kilograms of drugs amounting in monetary terms to 1.684 billion rupees throughout the country.

ANF seizes 5000kg of hashish

Earlier, the Anti Narcotics Forces has seized 5,000 kilogram of hashish during a raid conducted in Qilla Abdullah. The sources said that the forces carried out a raid at a compound in Qilla Abdullah and seized 5,000 kilogram of hashish. While carrying out an operation at the compound failed to make any arrest. The sources said that the hashish was stored to smuggle inside the country which costs billions of rupees in the international market.

ANF seizes 4000 kg drugs, arrests one

The Anti Narcotics Force has seized huge quantity of drugs and banned chemicals from oil tanker and container. According to a statement of spokesman, on a tip off, the ANF carried out a raid at an oil tanker and container and recovered 4000 kilogram of drugs and arrested an accused. The spokesman said that the hashish was brought to Karachi to smuggle abroad.
