AUSTIN (Web Desk) Anna Kendrick’s response to a question about reuniting with Blake Lively for the A Simple Favour sequel has sparked speculation about the nature of their relationship.

At the South by Southwest (SXSW) premiere of Another Simple Favour, Kendrick, 38, was asked what it was like working with Lively again. The actress replied briefly with a non-committal, "Oh, you know..." before walking away, leaving some fans wondering about possible tension between the two.

In stark contrast, Lively, 36, was visibly enthusiastic about their collaboration, describing the experience as “the best” and expressing her excitement to work with Kendrick once again.

The exchange has reignited rumours of a rift between the pair, which have circulated since they first starred together in A Simple Favour (2018). However, sources close to both actresses have previously denied any behind-the-scenes issues.

Later, when asked about any impact on the film’s release due to Lively’s ongoing legal battle with It Ends With Us director Justin Baldoni, Kendrick quipped, "Why? What happened? I did ayahuasca, and the last year of my life is just gone," before diverting the conversation.

While the brief interaction raised eyebrows, both stars appeared professional during press interviews and on the red carpet, with director Paul Feig showing support for Lively amid the legal controversy.
