Annual Tableeghi Ijtima first phase starts in Lahore

LAHORE (92 News) – The first phase of the annual Tableeghi Ijtima started in Raiwind, Lahore on Thursday.

The participants are reaching the venue. Special traffic arrangements have been made for the occasion.

Lahore CCPO Ghulam Muhammad Dogar also reviewed the security arrangements. The police launched search operations in the localities near to the Ijtima.

"The entry and exit points of the Ijtima are being monitored with the Safe City cameras. The security of the participants will be ensured," he added.

Meanwhile, Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed also visited the Ijtima and met the Tableeghi Jamaat leaders.
