Another case of child abuse emerges in Faisalabad

FAISALABAD (92 News) – The body of a minor boy allegedly abused before being killed has been found in Faisalabad as a similar case drew countrywide public outrage in Chunian, Kasur. According to the reports, a body identified as Saad, eight-year-old boy, which was found in nearby fields of Tarkhani Chak. The police believe the child was raped before being murdered. The third grader lived in Tarkhani Chak and went to the store near his house Tuesday evening to buy something. When he didn’t return, his parents began searching for him. His body was found in the nearby fields sometime at night. The Faisalabad police have arrested a man who is believed to have murdered a eight-year-old boy. A case has been registered on the complaint of father against the suspect Qasim under sections of the Anti-Terrorism Act as well as the rape and murder sections of the Pakistan Penal Code. The CPO spokesperson says they will not allow this suspect to slip through their fingers and will make sure he is punished for his crimes. The child’s father wants him to be hanged. Meanwhile, all preparations of the funeral prayers of the child has been completed. Taking the notice of this matter, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar sought a report from the inspector general of Punjab police (IGP).
