Two more coronavirus cases surface in Sindh, tally increases to 17

KARACHI (92 News) – Two more cases of coronavirus surfaced in the Sindh, increasing the tally to 17. On Saturday, three new cases emerged across the country. On the other hand, the Ministry for National Health said that so far 31 cases of coronavirus were detected. Of them, three patients have fully recovered. Meanwhile, the condition of a female patient being treated at PIMS has deteriorated and she was put on a ventilator. In Karachi, a 120-bed hospital has been reserved for the coronavirus patients. Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has ordered to set up three field hospitals. He ordered the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) to store dry ration and additional volunteers. The Sindh government has decided to establish quarantine in each district. Sindh Minister for Information Nasir Shah has appealed to the people to avoid gatherings. Murtaza Wahab, Sindh government spokesperson, said that Karachi’s hospital had not been disclosed for strategic purposes.
