Another doctor embraces martyrdom while fighting against coronavirus pandemic
KARACHI (92 News) – Another doctor embraced martyrdom while fighting against the coronavirus pandemic in Karachi.
Dr Abdul Qadir Soomro, vice president of Sindh Al-Khidmat Foundation, contracted the virus while treating the patients. He remained under treatment for several days.
He served as Gulshan Hadeed Al-Khidmat Hospital medical superintendent and had also established an isolation ward for the coronavirus patients.
Dr Abdul Qadir Soomro was laid to rest in a local graveyard. His funeral in absentia will be held at 2pm.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has offered condolence over the death of Dr Abdul Qadir Soomro.
