Another glitch in oath-taking ceremony of Karachi mayor, deputy mayor

KARACHI (92 News) –The sessions judge has been stopped from administering the oath to the Karachi mayor and deputy mayor. All the sessions judges could not get clearance of the Sindh High Court. The oath-taking ceremony of the district chairmen and vice-chairmen was not also possible. Earlier, Presiding Officer Imdad Khoso has issued the production order for Karachi Mayor Waseem Akhtar for the oath-taking ceremony to be held at 11am at Polo Ground on Tuesday. The order was sent to the jail superintendent. On the other hand, the provincial election commissioner said that the mayor could not take the oath till the notification of his success.
