NEW DELHI (92 News) – In yet another staggering video following the video of Indian Border Security Force constable Tej Bahadur Singh complaining of the poor quality of food served to BSF soldiers went viral, a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) constable Jeet Singh took to social media to appeal to the nation and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to give equal facilities to personnel employed with the paramilitary force just like the Indian Armed Forces. In a new video addressed to the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a CRPF soldier addressed the issue of discrimination between the army and paramilitary forces. He said: "We do as many hours of duty as the Indian army, so why do we have the difference in the facilities provided to them? Teachers are paid handsomely at Rs 50-60,000 and are also granted leaves during festivals while we are serving in the forests of Chattisgarh, Jammu and Kashmir with no leaves." Commenting on the pension and other medical facilities granted to the army officials. "We are not granted any welfare or pension. Nobody understands our pain. After we finish our service in 20 years, we aren't entitled to get ex-servicemen quota, medical or any other privileges." Singh went on to say in the video, “We guard almost every important establishment in India. We are deployed for VIP, VVIP security, also for National and State assembly elections. That’s not all, we are also posted for gram panchayat elections. Still, we don’t have facilities at par with the Indian Army."
