Another major power outage hits Karachi

KARACHI (92 News) – The 80 per cent of Karachi turned into darkness as the power supply was suspended due to tripping of K-Electric lines. As per details, a major power breakdown hits the metropolis on Thursday morning. Several parts of the city experienced power cuts There is no electricity in Defence, Korangi, Saddar, Nazimabad, Gulistan-e-Jauhar and including many other parts of Karachi. This is the fourth big breakdown to occur recently, with another power outage hitting the city on Monday. The Sindh High Court (SHC) and the banking courts also hit by power outages and they are experiencing troubles without electricity during the hearings. The authorities said that they are working to resolve the issue. It usually takes them around three to four hours to fix issues like this but it can also take up to two to four hours.
