Another setback for PTI as Samsam Bukhari leaves party, condemns May 9 incidents

LAHORE (92 News) - The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) suffered another setback when former provincial minister Samsam Bukhari announced to quit the party.

Announcing his decision, he condemned the May 9 incidents. "The country and these institution belong to us and we will have to jointly work," he added. "I have neither believed in violence nor it is the way."

Meanwhile, Samsam Bukhari held a meeting with Jahangir Tareeen and expressed his decision to join the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP).

IPP central leader Aon Chaudhry and Nauman Langrial were also present.
