Another spell of monsoon rain lashes Lahore

As per details, many areas of Lahore were lashed by the newly-started spell of monsoon rains, which caused water to stand on the roads. Routine life was disrupted across the city amid traffic jams and flooded roads as the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicted further downpour over the weekend. Mainly hot and humid weather is likely to prevail in the most parts of the country during the next twenty-four hours. On the other hand, the residents of Karachi enjoyed the pleasant weather after the rain. Sea View point has been crowded with people and people were enjoying their weekly off day as picnic. Meanwhile, Power supply was suspended to large parts of Karachi city on Sunday morning, due to a major breakdown caused by tripping in high tension line. The power outrage came under little rain and the residents of the metropolis are facing the major problems due to the breakdown of the electricity for 9 hours.
