Anti-dengue staffers protest stoppage of salaries for eight months in Multan

MULTAN (92 News) – The anti-dengue staffers staged a demonstration in protest against blockage of their salaries on Thursday.

They also blocked a road and chanted slogans against the government.

The protesters said that they were facing starvation because they could not get their salaries for the last eight months.

The protesters and passers-by had a scuffle over the road blockage. A passer-by was injured during the scuffle.

Later, they ended their protest on the assurance of the Health Department that the outstanding salaries will be paid by June 5.
