Anti-judiciary speeches: IHC accepts petition against Nawaz, Maryam

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday accepted the petitions against former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz’s anti-judiciary speeches for hearing. The IHC judge Justice Amir Farooq heard against former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz’s anti-judiciary speeches. The petition was filed by Adnan Iqbal stating that that Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz are spreading hatred against courts. The petitioner prayed the court to take action against the former PM and his daughter as their anti-judiciary speeches comes under contempt of court. The IHC will take up the case against the former premier and his daughter next week.
