Anti-Judiciary Speeches: LHC issues notice to Nawaz, Maryam

LAHORE (92 News) – The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday issued notice to former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz in case related to anti-judiciary speeches. A bench of Lahore High Court headed by Justice Shahid Kareem took up the petition filed by Advocate Azhar Siddique. The petitioner stated that Nawaz Sharif and daughter Maryam Nawaz have been inciting the masses against the judicial system. The court issued notice to the ex-PM, his daughter and PEMRA and directed them submit reply till March 15. The court later adjourned the hearing.
