Anti-polio campaign continues for third day across the country

LAHORE (92 News) – The five-day anti-polio campaign continued for the third day across country.

A complete security is being provided to polio teams. In 169 union councils, 6,327 teams have been formed to inoculate the children.

In Multan, more than 320,000 children have been administered the anti-polio drops. The target is to administer more 348,000 children in the five-day anti-polio drive. As many as 2,200 teams are carrying out door-to-door campaign in the city.

According to Faisalabad Health CEO, over 650,000 children have been administered the drops while 4,800 teams are working in the city to perform this task.

In Sukkur, 98% target to administer the anti-polio drops has been achieved. The district health officer said that they will achieve their target till evening.

In Hyderabad, over 130,000 children have been administered in the five-day anti-polio campaign. In total, over 2,90,000 children will be administered. As many as 1,445 mobile teams have been formed in the city.
