Anti-polio campaign to begin in Karachi’s 8 UCs on Saturday

KARACHI (Web Desk) – Anti-polio drive to vaccinate more than 200,000 children in eight Union Councils (UCs) in the metropolis will begin on Saturday, 92 News reported. The decision to launch polio campaign was taken during a meeting chaired by Commissioner Karachi Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui. The meeting was attended by health department, town health officials and WHO representatives. Commissioner Karachi Shoaib Siddiqui stated that latest campaign will be completed in seven rounds. Each round will continue for two day. 240,955 children below age of five will be inoculated during the campaign.
