APAT's Naeem Mir announces fresh round of shutter-down strike in August

LAHORE (92 News) - All Pakistan Anjuman-e-Tajiran (APAT) secretary general Naeem Mir announced four-day shutter-down strike in August to protest certain new taxes and condition of CNIC for retailers. According to Mir, traders across the country would observe complete shutter-down on August 15 and 16. He said the traders in previous shutter-down strike had demanded the government  to declare fix tax scheme for retailers in consultation with trade leaders. The trade leader vowed to continue a series of protests till the acceptance of their core demand of fixed income tax. According to 92 News correspondent, the traders will observe country-wide strike again on August 26 and 27 by closing their businesses the entire day. On July 13, traders observed almost complete shutter-down in all major parts of the country against imposition of multiple taxes, rising inflation and economic policies in the federal budget 2019. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9M9cV3O-PCI
