ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The 11-party all parties conference (APC) hosted by Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is underway in federal capital. Major Opposition parties have come together to devise an anti-government strategy at an PAC hosted by the PPP at a five-star hotel here in the Islamabad. PPP Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and delegations of the PML-N — including party president Shehbaz Sharif and vice president Maryam Nawaz — and JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman arrived at the venue, with other leaders joining over the past hour. PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif and former President Asif Ali Zardari attended and addressed the APC via video link. 11 member delegation of PML-N for the meeting is led by Opposition Leader Shehbaz Sharif. Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman, National Party, PKMAP, ANP, BNP-Mengal are also present in the meeting. On the other hand, Jamaat-e-Islami has refused to become part of the conference. Sources said that JUI-F chief Maulana Fazalur Rehman will again press the APC for tendering resignations from the assemblies. However, big political parties are avoiding the option of resignations. The APC will review the two-year performance of the government and discuss the future strategy. All opposition parties will present proposals regarding the future course of action. Sources said that political activities in London had increased. "Nawaz Sharif has also invited the opposition leaders, including Bilawal Bhutto, to London for bringing a no-confidence move after the APC," they added.
