ISLAMABAD (92 News) – PPP co-chairman Asif Zardari has said that political parties have been assembled to take them into confidence over the issue of extension in military courts. Addressing the all parties conference at Zardari House on Saturday, he said that the final decision on the issue would be made after consultations. He assigned Farooq H Naik responsibility to prepare a legal draft of extension in the military courts. Talking to the media, Farhatullah Babar said that a legal document would be drafted to remove reservations and a team to be headed by Farooq H Naik would be formed in this regard. PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the National Action Plan was discussed during the conference and parties had reservations on military courts. He said that they would present a draft on the scope of military courts after discussing their lawyers. AML chief Sheikh Rashid was of the view that Asif Zardari had said that he was an opponent of Nawaz Sharif. “All parties are agreed on two-year extension in military courts. The PPP should decide on Panama and Dawn Leaks,” he maintained.
