Appointment of new COAS is PM prerogative, says Kh Asif

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Defence Minister Kh Asif has said that the appointment of a new army chief is the prerogative of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. Talking to the media on Saturday, he said that the prime minister will consult General Raheel Sharif regarding the appointment of the new COAS. He said that they will have consultation with the ministers with regard the appointment of new COAS.
