Karachiites continue to to face severe power outage

KARACHI (92 News) – Several areas in Karachi remained without electricity since early morning on Thursday, despite K-Electric's assurances. As per details, residents of Federal B area, North Nazimabad, Gulshan Iqbal, Defence, Kasba Colony, Manghopir, North Karachi, Landi and Korangi among some to be named were among those hit by the non-availability of electricity. "The K-Electric promised supply of electricity at 10:30 am," a resident said. "It's been three hours now since the power went out." According to K-Electric spokesman, work to restore power in the affected areas is in process.
