Arif Alvi calls for forming independent commission on May 9
LAHORE (92 News) - Former president Arif Alvi has demanded that an independent commission should be formed on May 9 and elements involved in the incidents should be brought to justice.
Talking to the media on Wednesday, he said that people from both sides will have to ignore it. "The nation is united and respects the Army. There is need to end political disputes," he added.
The former president said that the people not aware of democracy are teaching them the lesson of democracy. "It is pitiable that how the parliament was formed through Form 47. Conditions deteriorate when such people reach the Parliament," he added.
