SRINAGAR (92 News) – Some unknown armed men have on Monday gunned down three Indian General Reserve Engineer Force (GREF) soldiers in an attack on military base in the Occupied Kashmir. According to Indian media reports, the attack took place around 7am when gun shots were heard and the area was cordoned off by security forces. The Indian authorities claimed that the gunmen managed to flee taking advantage of the darkness, while the occupation forces have cordoned off the area and launched search operation. GREF and the Border Roads Engineering Service form the parent cadre of the Border Roads Organisation, which is responsible for the development and maintenance of road networks in India's border areas.
