Armed people intercept Sindh former governor Muhammad Zubair

KARACHI (92 News) – Some armed intercepted Sindh former governor Muhammad Zubair near Saba Avenue, Defence area on Tuesday night. Talking to the media outside his residence, the former governor said that he was going with his family when two-three people riding a car stopped him and pointed a gun towards him. “I do not know whether the armed people wanted to kill or harass me,” he said. He said that security threats had increased after the murder of Ali Raza Abidi. After the incident, a heavy contingent of police reached the spot started investigations. Meanwhile, Karachi PTI president Khurram Sher Zaman and secretary general Haleem Adil Sheikh have condemned the incident. They demanded that the Sindh government should order thorough investigations into the matter and bring the responsible people to justice.
