Army and govt are on the same page, says Fawad Chaudhary

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Information Minister Fawad Chaudhary has said that the Pak Army and the government are on the same page.

Addressing a press conference after a parliamentary meeting on Thursday, he said that the prime minister thinks that the civil-military relations have not been so good like present.

"The credit of the civil-military relations goes to Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa," he added.

Fawad Chaudhary said that the prime minister had informed the meeting that he often talked to the Army chief.

He said that the matters pertaining to the appointment of the DG ISI had been settled. "The appointment process of the DG ISI is underway and the appointment will be made soon," he added.
