Army chief, Chinese envoy vow to further improve exceptional ties

RAWALPINDI (92 News) - Newly appointed Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Nong Rong called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa here on Monday.
According to tweet of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), matters of mutual interest, including regional security, were discussed during the meeting.
The two noted “exceptional relations” between both the countries and pledged to further improve the same. The visiting dignitary acknowledged and appreciated Pakistan’s contributions to conflict prevention in the region.
