Army Chief Gen Raheel Sharif’s mother passes away

RAWALPINDI (Web Desk) – Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif’s ailing mother today (Saturday) passed away at Armed Forces Institue of Cardiology (AFIC) in Rawalpindi, 92 News reported. Army Chief General Raheel sharif, President Mamnoon Hussain, Joint Chief of Staff Committee General Rashid Mehmood, Air Chief Tahir Rafique Butt, Naval Chief Admiral Zakaullah, Abdul Qadri Baloch, Rana Tanvir, Sartaj Aziz, Rasheed Godial, Raja Pervez Ashraf, Mir Zafarullah Jamali, other political and military leaders attended her funeral prayers in Chaklala Garrison at 1:45pm. She will be buried in the Cavalry Ground graveyard in Lahore after Asr prayers. President Mamnoon Hussain, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif have expressed their condolences with the bereaved family.
