Army chief inaugurates new blocks at CMH Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa inaugurated the new blocks at Combined Military Hospital (CMH) on Tuesday. According to the statement of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), after complete construction of the project that commenced in 2013, the CMH has become 1000-bed hospital with capacity of 1,150 beds. The ISPR said that with enhanced capacity and high-tech equipment, as many as 5,000 patients would be treated daily at the Outpatient Department (OPD). The hospital would cater to medical needs of military as well as civilian personnel. It is pertinent to mention here that now CMH has become one of the state-of-art hospitals which shall act as a base Hospital not only for army but for Air Force and Navy as well, the ISPR added.
Imam-e-Kaaba, COAS agree to enhance peace among Muslim Ummah
A day earlier, Imam-e-Kaaba Shaikh Abdul Elah Al-Juhani called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa and both the leaders agreed to boost efforts for peace among Muslim Ummah. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations, Imam-e-Kaaba stressed the need for boosting efforts to enhance peace and harmony in the Muslim world. During the meeting, Imam-e-Kaaba Sheikh Dr Abdullah Awad Al Juhany said expressed that Pakistan has a momentous place in the Muslim Ummah and appreciated the country’s positive role for regional peace and stability. The ISPR further said that both the leaders expressed satisfaction over the brotherly relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
