LAHORE (92 News) – Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed has said that Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa is standing with Prime Minister Imran Khan and the government for the success of democracy. Addressing a press conference at Railways Headquarters on Saturday, he said that all parties are united on granting extension to COAS Qamar Bajwa. About JUI-F’s Azadi March, Sheikh Rasheed said that Maulana Fazlur Rehman would soon say he had returned home empty-handed. “Fazlur Rehman has staged a sit-in and now will stage the protest on each Friday,” he added. He said that the outcome of the plea bargain of the people of Asif Zardari would appear by March. “Imran Khan will not give the NRO to anyone,” he declared. The minister said that the Army Chief would be granted extension with a simple majority. “There is no need to amend the constitution over the COAS matter. It can be done through a simple majority,” he said. He said that a mafia wants to destabilize the government of Imran Khan. “Whenever Shehbaz Sharif goes to London with the hat, it is feared that he would do something there. Nawaz Sharif is unwell, but Shehbaz Sharif is spending his vacations,” he added. Sheikh Rasheed said that he fully supports student unions. “Kashmir is the jugular vein of Pakistan,” he said. He said that the nation is with CPEC and China. “I believe Imran Khan will complete his five years,” he added.
