Army imposes curfew, Section 144 in Rajanpur

RAJANPUR (92 News) – As the Operation Zarb-e-Aahan continued in Rajanpur’s Kachay area, the area has been cordoned off while curfew was also imposed the area on Sunday. The soldiers have completed preparations for action against dacoits in Rajanpur as curfew has been imposed in Kacha Jamal area. The armed forces had taken over the control ongoing operation against dacoits, while the military soldiers are marching towards the barracks of dacoits by tightening noose against them. All educational institutions have also been closed until further orders. The Chotu gang had kidnapped at least 25 policemen including two Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSPs) and warned the police officials of killing the hostages if the firing continued. The operation intensified yesterday when the dacoits killed another four policemen and handed over the bodies to the authorities. The dacoits also handed over four injured policemen to representatives of police.
