Army is not exceeding its limit in the slightest, says PM Kakar

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar has said that the army is not exceeding its limit in the slightest.

Talking to the foreign media on Tuesday, he said that he had not so far felt that the government was being dictated. "The army gives the government on its demand input on every matter," he declared.

The prime minister said that they are jointly working on the security and economic matters. "I had made the decision to rescue the people stranded in the chairlift. I thought it mandatory to save the children, setting aside the civil-military discussion," he added.

He said that the country lacks departmental service delivery performance. "If someone thinks that they should have not sought help from the army, then we have to enhance the performance of the departments," he added.

PM Kakar said that they would have to seek help from the army for century if performance of departments was not improved.

He made it clear that it was not government job to give the election timeframe.
