Army Urban Search & Rescue team reaches Karachi

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – The Army Urban Search and Rescue team reached Karachi from Rawalpindi by PAF’s C-130 on Thursday. In a statement, DG ISPR Maj Gen Babar Iftikhar said that the team equipped with modern instruments will take part in the rescue activities. He said that the fire erupted after the plane tragedy had been contained. “Ten fire tenders helped extinguished the fire,” he said. The DG ISPR said that the military ambulances shifted the injured to hospital.
