LAHORE (92 News) – At least 17 Pakistani workers are reportedly stuck on a ship anchored in the Egypt’s Suez Canal. The workers have been stuck on the ship anchored in the sea, away from the seashore, for more than four months now. They were running out of food and other supplies of daily need. Six of the Pakistani workers were critically unwell as they do not have access to medical treatment. Meanwhile, Foreign Office Spokesperson Nafees Zakaria said that all arrangements have been made to bring Pakistanis back home from Suez Canal. The spokesman said in statement that the Pakistan’s Embassy in Egypt is in contact with the stranded Pakistanis including captain. He said that the embassy officials have also visited the ship and met with the crew members.
