LAHORE (92 News) – PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that art, culture and history are embedded in the veins of Lahore.

Addressing a literary festival in Alhamra Hall on Monday, he said that he wanted to see such Pakistan where the culture of humanity and tolerance should be in vogue.

“Lahore is reflection of the country. Banazir Bhutto led democratic struggle against martial law from this city. Gen Ziaul Haq eliminated the environment of tolerance and question-raising,” he said.

Bilawal Bhutto said that a big leader unite all through his message.

“Currently the atmosphere of promoting bigotry is present in the country,” he added.

A one-minute silence was observed for the student Mashal Khan in the Benazir Literary Festival.

The participants stood in mourning in the hall for one minute against the gruesome murder of Mashal.
